Exploring the Great Outdoors

We always try to socialize and condition our puppies to as many various situations as we can.  Not too hard to do when you have lots of kids, grandkids and other animals around.  Not to mention I'm constantly building things in the house so the noise level can rise a lot around here.  But one of my favorite things to do in terms of acclimating the puppies is taking them outside!

"Hey, how'd he get out?"
For the first few outings we keep them enclosed in this corral-type setting so they just get used to being outdoors, but then we let them out to explore and play with us.  It's unbelievably fun and they're so cute!

Our dogs' favorite human, our 14 yo daughter.

Just 2 weeks until they go to their new homes!  Get in touch with us if you have any questions or would like to place a deposit on one of these cuties.

4+ Weeks and counting...

The puppies are all receiving their regular doses of worming medication and puppy shots, and they're doing quite well.

The upside?  You get to play with adorable little puppies all the time.  The down side?  Poop duty!  One of the most difficult things about breeding and raising puppies, that no one ever seems to mention, is that you're basically cleaning up dog manure every single day once the mama's stopped taking care of it.  Yuck!  No fun!

But it's all good in the end.  Giving them a good start and seeing them go off to loving homes is more than reward enough.  Speaking of which...these puppies will be ready to go to their new homes May 12, 2017.  So if you're interested in buying one of these Husky beauties we're accepting deposits.

We're located in southern Michigan, right near the Ohio and Indiana borders.  We're flexible when it comes to getting your puppy to you if you're not an easy drive from here.  We've used a few methods that have worked out quite well for us, so give us a hollar even if you're a bit of a drive away.  I'm sure we can figure something out to get you your puppy safe and sound. We're located in southern Michigan, right near the Ohio and Indiana borders.

Can't Help Posting More Puppy Cuteness...

We've all noticed the incredible similarity of the white Husky puppies to Polar Bears we've seen at our fabulous Toledo zoo.

Can't you see it too?

The Puppies Have Arrived!!!

The Luck of the Irish - Saint Patrick's Day, 2017

Sophie safely delivered 8 puppies on Saint Patrick's Day.  Being the wonderful, instinctive mother that she is, she needed no assistance from us mere mortals.  There were six black/white and two all white; 4 males and 4 females.  Tons of oohs and aahs were heard all around.  :)

This little one looks really comfy all snuggled up against its mama.

One of the kids thought they needed a stuffed animal in there.

Can you tell we're a bit partial to the white ones?

Queen Belle Sophie - "Sophie"

Treasured's Dreaming of Mischief - "Chief"
Sophie & Chief's first litter together should be a perfect blend of great temperament and beauty.  Both of these Siberian Huskies are extremely good-natured and are well-loved pets for our children.  They're both completely at home with our other dogs including our little Yorkie, "Maddie".

We've raised Sophie since she was a wee puppy.  She's incredibly smart and well mannered.  She's our dream Husky!

Chief came to us at a little over 2 years old.  Large enough to give new visitors pause, look behind his physical size and you'll find the sweetest natured dog you've ever met.  PennHIP tested and looking great.  He comes from a great line of Huskies including his "Grandma" who's a National Champion.

Both Chief and Sophie are fantastic family dogs and we're sure their puppies will be too.
